Several JHJ fans have e-mailed me to ask what his second Chinese drama is about, so this is a brief synopsis of the plot:

The story of “Tempest of Youth” (my translation) – 25 episodes –  is centred on a girl from a single-parent (mother) family, all about the people she meets at university and the trials and tribulations they go through together on campus.  In the end they triumph through the passion and vitality of youth and manage to overcome all obstacles.  This is a coming-of-age story: she grows up and wins both academic success and love.

Comments: I don’t know any of the Chinese actors and I don’t see where JHJ comes in at all, unless he plays one of the university students.  The drama has already had its start-of-shooting ceremony, with no JHJ in sight.  SNH’s message a couple of days ago acknowledges things have not been finalized and the script has not yet been translated into Korean.  If they haven’t learnt a lesson from that non-event in Hong Kong and Macau in 2010, they are even more hopeless than I give them credit for! 

 P.S.  I’ve just read a little bit more – JHJ plays a university student who is nicknamed Sherlock Holmes (so that gives you some idea).  But he is only one of 3 male students surrounding the female lead (and he is at least 10 years older than everybody else.)

In the case of wulijohyunjae, it is “In my beginning is my end.”  All good things must come to an end.  I didn’t need a reason to start this blog, and I don’t need to give a reason to end it.  Suffice to say, JHJ and I are 缘盡 (cannot translate, let’s just say JHJ and I have come to the end of the road.)

I am retaining my e-mail address for this blog - jhjfans@gmail.com.  Even if I’m no longer operating the blog, I’ll still be around. We are still under the same sky.  And if JHJ gets married, I promise I’ll report it first thing here.

A parting present:

Just heard on the grapevine that JHJ has returned to China (on Dec.1) to star in another Chinese drama – a contemporary romantic comedy set on a university campus (he plays a university student), to be shot around Shanghai.

Watch out for news on www.weibo.com.

This blog will remain open at least until July 1, 2012.  I may return to haunt it from time to time ^^

I’ve returned home after a long time busy working.

Thanks to all your warm cheer and encouragement, I can do well wherever I am.  Thank you so much!

I’ve met many good people when I was shooting in China, and I’ve also received a lot of good impressions.

But of course I’ve experienced differences in working conditions and other things, compared to our own country.

There may be opportunities to transcend Korea and further develop in China.

As an actor, I hope to gain more experience and widen my horizon with more opportunities for development.

I will also greet you all in a good work here.
