Our Japanese friend M and members of her JHJ website had a get-together on Nov.27 in Osaka.  The venue was Yumefuku, the restaurant where JHJ had his first Japanese meal when he went to Osaka for his first fan meeting in 2008.

JHJ left his mark here, as did other actors.

Highlight of the evening was watching the Japan Fan Meeting DVD (and videos of JHJ’s discharge, from what we can glimpse.)  These Japanese fans certainly looked like they were having a good time.

We have to entertain ourselves as best as we can, and a little is better than nothing.  JHJ fans are so easily satisfied and so happy with whatever we can get.

Footnote: M said Yumefuku did not live up to expectations, and next time they’d hold their party at the restaurant where JHJ dined in August 2010.  It’s a mystery how the Japanese discover where JHJ did what!

We really don’t feel like posting this at all because 1) it’s old news (but the photos have just seen the light of day), and 2) it’s not exactly JHJ news.  But in the absence of any news at all, anything is better than nothing.

The following photo shows what CAFE sent JHJ for Pepero Day (Nov.11).  Pepero Day is an observance in South Korea similar to Valentine’s Day.  It is named after the Korean snack Pepero and held on November 11, since the date “11/11″ resembles four sticks of Pepero.  This day is observed mostly by young people and couples, who exchange Pepero sticks, other candies, and romantic gifts

Pepero (빼빼로) is a cookie stick, dipped in chocolate syrup, manufactured by Lotte Confectionary in Korea (since 1983) which denied starting Pepero Day to boost its sales.

What we really want to post is the following “creation” by our friend B — very unprofessional (JHJ’s face looks like it has been mauled!), not at all subtle, but so sweet!  Thanks, B!

What a wonderful harmony under Park Kalin’s baton…
The wonderful harmony was caused that all 32 members looked at the same space gathering their passion and dream.
They thought the harmony more important than each member’s vocal characteristics,
believed each other and leaned on each other.
So, feeling inadequate,
they could believe that someone else would fill it up and have confidence.
It was very beautiful to do their best and to encourage each other.

We, too,
have been together in Everjohyunjae,
believing each other,
looking at the same space,
leaning on each other in times of trouble,
and spreading the happy virus.

Everjohyunjae’s 5th anniversary.
we didn’t merely pass time
but made a lot of memories with Hyunjae and you,
always agonizing,
sometimes being worried,
sometimes being excited,
sometimes watching without a word.

We know well that everything starts again.
At this starting line,
the tensest and the most excited person will be Hyunjae…
Because he is the person who will run a race again,
I think that we have to watch him again and support him,
in order that he may not be exhausted sometimes,
in order that he may get tenser sometimes,
in order that he may feel reassured sometimes.

Fans exist because Actor exists.
Everjohyunjae also can have the anniversary like this,
and we can celebrate Everjohyunjae’s anniversary together here.

Everjohyunjae started in 2005…

3. Two boards of HJ Photo, ‘Still Shot’ and ‘Wallpaper’ will be removed.

We have used an exclusive server for the present Everjohyunjae in order to store huge amounts of data.
But we planned to manage New Everjohyunjae using web hosting, it became necessary to reduce the amounts of data.
It is also a problem to move scores of thousands of image files
So sadly, we decided to remove ‘Still shot’ and ‘Wallpaper’
We hope you understand us and ask you to download what you want personally.
(All video data will be retained because they are stored in a separate server)

If you’ve ever wondered whether Jo Hyun-Jae uses any of the gifts his fans sent him, here’s proof (from CarpeDiem.) 

The watch he was wearing on the day he entered the military on August 5, 2008, was a gift from CAFE on an earlier occasion.

The watch he was wearing on the day of his discharge on June 19, 2010, was the watch CAFE sent him for his birthday in May.

And EVER in one of their posts mentioned JHJ was using their birthday present – IPOD Touch – from photos on the KOW.  We’re sure he’s also using their discharge present – the Samsung Galaxy cell phone.

So you can be assured that JHJ puts his fans’ gifts to good use.
