Jo Hyun Jae

If you’ve ever wondered whether Jo Hyun-Jae uses any of the gifts his fans sent him, here’s proof (from CarpeDiem.) 

The watch he was wearing on the day he entered the military on August 5, 2008, was a gift from CAFE on an earlier occasion.

The watch he was wearing on the day of his discharge on June 19, 2010, was the watch CAFE sent him for his birthday in May.

And EVER in one of their posts mentioned JHJ was using their birthday present – IPOD Touch – from photos on the KOW.  We’re sure he’s also using their discharge present – the Samsung Galaxy cell phone.

So you can be assured that JHJ puts his fans’ gifts to good use.

4.  Even if you have done all of the above, you still want to know and you miss JHJ a lot

As for me, I feel like a little green frog*…..
(*Editor’s note: Korean expression meaning “different from the ordinary way of thinking or doing”.)

Up to now, I feel most cheerful recently.  Ha!

When JHJ has finished making preparations for his comeback, he will soon make his comeback.

Before he makes his comeback, we have to wait patiently…..Ha!

When JHJ was in the military, I often got worried for no reason at all…..

But now…..Ho! Ho!

Looks like…..I  don’t seem to be able to lighten up…..

JHJ…..he should be so nervous? (Just kidding~)

You all know about the Japan fan meetings on August 21 and 22.

We have also made a lot of preparations in relation to Japan fan meetings.

Not just Japanese fans, overseas fans will also participate.

No matter where, JHJ always receives a lot of love…..

Also, EVERJOHYUNJAE is getting ready for overall renewal.

EVER will be moving to a new home.

Directory, etc. are in the tryout renewal process.

If you have ever encountered any problems in using EVER, please let us know.

An EVER member is responsible for this renewal.

Continuation of ING’s tribute to Jo Hyun-Jae on the occasion of his discharge.

 We have translated the second one:

Seeking the whole US

All over the years, all through the journey of life, how many people have I passed and simply smiled and said: “Not in our destiny.”

Today when I’m attacked on all sides, suddenly I realize that at my age, in the eyes of the world I’m no longer a girl.

But I am still wilful, still insist on watching you silently from afar.

These feelings that nobody knows about have made me afraid, and have also made me depressed.

Every time when I think about how you and I are the same – breathing under the same blue sky, smiling under the same blue sky, living under the same blue sky – what do I have to fear?

No!  I am not afraid!  Even if it is just a chance in ten million, I am still grateful, still patiently waiting.

Even if I can only meet you in dreams, I am still gratified.

All the cause and effect are just to seek a whole heart!

A whole US!

We have translated the last one:

Rejoice

I rejoice you were born to this world.  Your parents gave you life, and you gave me the courage to seek love.

I believe there are other men as good as you in this world.  I rejoice I got to know you.  Because I got to know you, my cold heart becomes warm again, beats again, and I can smile from my heart.

I rejoice you became an actor.  If you’re not a public figure, I’ll never be able to get to know you out of the multitude of life.  You and I are separated by the whole world, and meeting is a remote possibility.

Rejoice!  You have succeeded!  You’re like a star in the dark of night — shining! glittering!  I can recognize you without much effort.

I rejoice at knowing you are called Jo Hyun-Jae.  Because there is a name, I can whisper it again and again every night I think about you.

I rejoice there are so many who like you as much as I.  We are one family; we are the strength behind you!  We are your devoted supporters!

I especially rejoice that you are as perfect as I imagine.  That’s why I am so smitten.  That’s why my faith is strengthened!

Discharge present and conclusion of discharge activities

Dear EVER members,

Jo Hyun-Jae has been discharged for more than a week, actually 10 days.

How did JHJ and all of you spend this time?

JHJ needs a little time to rest and to prepare for the switch from being a soldier to being an actor.

Rather than make haste, we should allow JHJ to follow his own pace to be well prepared before returning to our side.

Now that the discharge is over, let me explain a few things:

Our discharge present for JHJ is the Samsung Galaxy S Android smartphone.

The Galaxy S debuted on June 25.  JHJ is reputed to be the first customer, courtesy of a general sales agent.

The female staff are all very excited and keep exclaiming: “So handsome!  So cool!  So modest!”  Looks like they have conveyed this message to JHJ.

This phone comes with our sincerest regards…..hope JHJ will keep it with him and use it often…..^^

From the photos on the Korean Official Website, it seems JHJ is using our birthday present — IPOD Touch ^__^

Also on the day of the discharge, we prepared balloons, bouquets, banners, and snacks (for JHJ, reporters, troops.)  You have seen these in many photos — specially prepared for the media, so JHJ could really shine on the day of his discharge…..even if it is just a little contribution from us.

Moreover, EVER prepared gifts for JHJ in the military — every 2 – 3 weeks we sent him simple items for personal use.  Up to the last week of May, a total of 40 small parcels have been sent in the name of EVERjohyunjae, all filled with each member’s love.

When JHJ was in the military, EVERjohyunjae’s slogan was: “Support you forever!” Members who give JHJ strength at all times – for the JHJ who was so honest, solid, and better-than-expected in the military – just so he can return to us in a new image, we hope everyone will be like now…..no, a little calmer…..standing fervently by his side.

when Everjohyunjae opened in 2005.
I think it represents our mind.

Even five years later…
our mind is still the same…
this is the space which people cherishing and loving only one person, Johyunjae, congregate in.

May 17, 2010…
it can be a meaningful and meaningless day.
The title of  ‘한국공식사이트  (Korean official site)’
has disappeared from Everjohyunjae today.

it would [have] taken long time to delete the titles on Everjohyunjae,
but our Webdesigner handled it quickly this time.
So it was possible to finish it on time.
Thanks to her.
We are modifying the phrase of the membership page.
It will be finished soon.

Everything finally seems to have found [them]selves again.
From May 17, 2010,
Everjohyunjae will greet Members as a Fansite, not as an Official Fansite. ^^

But Ever members’ heart living and breathing Everjohyunjae…
still looks the way it did at the beginning,
yes, and will become more plentiful, warmer and lovelier.

This is the MV created by Ranta to celebrate CarpeDiemJAPAN’s second anniversary last month.  We’ve only just now converted it from a flash to a video.  Even though it’s no longer timely, it’s still worth posting here because the MV is a beautiful piece of work.
