Everybody knows Jo Hyun-Jae is a dog lover. He has a pet dog and he was a dog soldier when he was in the army. Some Japanese fans (obviously cat lovers), however, have come up with this curiously cute “JHJ and cats” video. Can you detect the similarities that they see?
You have to admire JHJ’s Japanese fans for their imagination and powers of association! In case the video flashes too fast for you, here are some still pictures.

We went online and did a little research. According to a 2010 paper published by Sam Gosling of the University of Texas at Austin, the psychologist found in a research that “dog people” are more extroverted, more agreeable, and more conscientious, while “cat people” are more neurotic and more open. Most people think there are significant differences on major personality traits between dog lovers and cat lovers. We say: Live and let live — we’re all creatures of God. And: dog or cat, we love JHJ!

A: I have absolutely no idea that my fans who have always been there for me will be here in force, even more than when I enlisted. I am so grateful!
Q: What did you do last night?
A: I could hardly sleep. I was too excited.
Q: Do you feel it’s a pity that you’re discharged a day later than Jae Hee?
A: Because there was a football match that night, coming out one day later is just fine.
Q: Who has helped you in the military?
A: At the beginning it was very hard. I received a lot of help from my fellow soldiers. I am an army dog soldier, so of course I’m thinking about my dogs. I feel very sad we have to part company.
Q: We heard you received an autographed CD from the Wonder Girls.
A: Actually it’s my manager who got it, not me directly. Wonder Girls are very popular in the military. I asked my management company to get it for my campmates.
Q: Which female group livens up your life in the military?
A: Honestly I can’t choose one, because I like them all.
Q. How do you feel about life in the army?
A. Actually it’s not bad at all, in fact, pretty good, very good.
Q: Which actress would you like to work with?
A: I’m grateful to every one I’ve worked with. In any case, I can’t afford to pick and choose now ….. (said to great laughter)

A: Yes, they are all very close to me — “Seo Dong Yo” alumi like Lee Chang-Hoon, Lee Bo-Young, Ryu Jin and others all came to see me.
