Well, not exactly! But the MV below is specially made for us by our good friend KK. Many JHJ fans don’t like the 2004 drama “Sunshine” because of the ending, but we like the way JHJ looks in it. MV is set to one of our favourite songs, Bette Midler’s “The Wind Beneath My Wings”, and highlights some of our favourite scenes from “Sunshine”.
JHJ in “Sunshine” is the most drop-dead gorgeous pastry chef in the world. A few years ago a friend of mine in the U.S. was distraught because her son who graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics decided to become a pastry chef. I promptly sent her a DVD of “Sunshine”. She was not amused and never talked to me again. People with no sense of humour are not happy people. Here’s wishing all JHJ fans are happy everyday!

A sort of review of JHJ’s career from the beginning to 2010:

This MV is special because it is made from photos from the Japan Official Fan Club (which we’re not supposed to use, but since they’re closing, guess it’s now a free-for-all) and songs that JHJ has sung before (at birthdays, fan meetings, etc.) Watching it makes my heart ache! So this is “killing me softly with his song” (and looks!)

You all know this Michael Cretu song that we used to sing on college campuses. It has a mesmerizing quality about it – just like JHJ!
Come with me in the silence of darkness
I want to show you secrets of life
I will guide you where dreams could’t take you
She seldom flew away in the night
You’re the moonlight flower
You’re the voice of the night.
When you call I’ll follow.
We’ll leave on the trip of delight.
I have been to the heights of my senses.
Feeling the touch of your cures,
I have seen the magic things under night skies.
Until the sunrise ended the spell.
You’re the moonlight flower
You’re the voice of the night.
When you call I’ll follow.
We’ll leave on the trip of delight.

This is again from that Korean fan who took scenes from “49 Days’ and set it to another song from JHJ’s CD - ”Beside you like the wind” or “Like the wind by your side” (just different English translations of Korean title), interspersed with scenes from JHJ’s MV with LYW of See Ya’s songs four years ago . Some Korean fan (bless her!) has taken scenes from “49 Days” and set them to JHJ’s song “Words you said to me” from his CD (that he released as a present for his fans in 2008 when started his military service.)
