I was away in US for a holiday - not in london. I received many sms and calls from friends to ask if i was ok during the holiday. Its horrible how these hackers bother to do that! I had linked my email to my FB and it had the same password. I couldn't get into my own email as the hacker had changed my password and had taken control of everything on it. I have since reclaimed my email and my FB account . Good thing i recalled some security issues in my account and could change everything back. My closer friends knew it wasn;t me as i don't "speak" so formerly on email. After reclaiming the email i checked my "send" box and a contact on my email bothered to ask "me" if my email was hacked and the hacker even bothered to reply to say it isn't hacked and to send the money to a man by the name of "Mark" in the US. When i reclaimed my FB it showed someone had gained access to it from San Monteo in the US on the 7th of Dec, Oddly it coincided with the day i arrived in US, via LA. I don't think the two are connected though. My advice is - change passwords to tighter more strong passwords and remember your security question , zip code, hand phone number or whatever is asked of you in your own account settings so that should it get hacked - you can still retrieve/reclaim it.
