It would be sad to know if there are hierarchy among JHJ fans and fans club. However, since I do not belong to any fans club I have no idea what is going on. Also, we will know what would be the star status of JHJ once the RO is released in China and overseas. With regards to his 2nd China project, it could be this 2nd China project was already in the making while he was filming RO and there was no job for him in Korea. I remember JHJ mentioned in one of his comments that "now I know why some actors are taking their time in choosing a project". I can give an example from one of the actor I am now following his career. This actor has 1 drama in 2009, one film in 2010 and 2011. This actor is still not having a drama listings he is supposed to do in 2012. But this actor still has star status in spite of not having fans meetings nor drama in 2010 or 2011. His 2011 movie was a hit in the box office.
JHJ is lucky to have fans that are very devoted and constantly put him in "youtube".
If only JHJ has active press relation agent, he could have solidify his fans and achieved far greater success.
As for me, I will continue to support JHJ and wish him greater success.

@prissymom@Liv2Dfull I agree why do they need to have turmoil and conflict with each other. they should support JHJ because they considered as a fan. they should understand his decision as a person and besides this is not JHJ fault.so they shouldn't blame anyone.all of us are a fan of him. We should have a spirit of unity and we should serve an inspiration to him so that he will do better in his career. Anyways I'll still support and believe in him and wish him a great success.

@prissymom - I was expecting JHJ to do a Korean project as well after RO.
But in hindsight, I think its good that he's taking advantage of the Chinese opportunities. Why? Because China is in Financial bubble for quite a while. The financial world is holding its breath for it to happen soon. With the recent problems in Europe made it even more possible that its coming. So while it hasn't burst yet, JHJ might as well take advantage of it. I just hope that he always paid in advance, just in case... :)

It's sad to know that there's turmoil between fans. But you're right WuliJHJ, its all about the ugly side of human nature.
Actually, when 150 Chinese fans visited JHJ, I was surprised it was only that much. Its small number in relation to the population of China. Perhaps seeing the photos of the visit made other fan members upset since they weren't included? Perhaps, there is a level of membership. If you are in the VIP level, you can attend all the important events and get up close to see JHJ.
If the Japanese fans are unhappy about JHJ Chinese projects, why aren't they offer him work in Japan like what the Chinese are doing?
I'm sure JHJ loves working in Korea but if there's no job for him there, its great he's exploring other avenues. He had to make a living and continue developing his talents.
Wherever he may go, I'll still support him and wish him great success.

Forgot to mention this - the problems with the Korean and Japanese fans feeling disappointed? I totally blame SNH for that. They are so inept at handling JHJ news. Don't they realize they put JHJ in a bad light when they make promises they don't keep?

here are my honest thoughts/concerns on all these things:

I am as surprised as everyone else when news of JHJ doing another Chinese project came out. I really thought that he would do a Korean project next. It would have been the best move for him, in terms of his Hallyu status.

I thought he would wait for a good Korean project to further solidify his Hallyu status. I am even willing to wait quietly until after the first quarter of 2012 to hear about a new JHJ Korean project because there are already activities scheduled in the early part of 2012. And I thought that he might have to go back to China to promote RO. But JHJ taking on another Chinese project so soon after RO? That never entered my mind. But to me it was a pleasant surprise. We cannot deny that China is the biggest market right now, actors earn better there than anywhere else. JHJ is an artist, but more than that, he is a man with many responsibilities. He has to be practical. If working in China would move him nearer to financial stability, then I am happy for him. But I have concerns about this new project: is it a good one? does it have a good story? are the people behind this project reliable ones? will it have a ready broadcast station like RO? who are his co-stars? what are their status in the C-ent industry?

It seems the decision to take on this project is so rushed or was this on the plate even before JHJ flew back home?

According to SNH message, the filming of this second drama in Shanghai will just take 2 months. Does that mean by end of January or by early February, JHJ will be free to take up another project? Isn't it better for JHJ to be working (wherever that is) rather than sitting at home waiting for SNH to secure a project for him? Can't the Korean fans understand that? Can't they just wish him the best in this new project and welcome him warmly when he returns?

As for the fan wars - I pity JHJ being caught up in all this maelstrom. Our man has only one body, he cannot be in 2-3 places at the same time. Fans should just let him work in peace without all this added stress. He is an actor, he ought to be spending more time acting. There'll be plenty of time for fan meetings and stuff.

prissymom, JHJ has changed his Chinese agent. The Japanese are even unhappier than the Koreans. Don't you know they've always been very possessive of JHJ? JHJ is going there early next year to sell DVDs; only 1000 fans will have the chance to see him., so it's not the usual fan meeting. As for the Chinese, everything went to pieces after they visited him on set, especially after Beijing. There is a Chinese saying: "If the ice is 3 feet deep, it couldn't have happened overnight." Why do people go their separate ways? I can think of power struggle, personality conflict ... all the ugly aspects of human nature. And this is another reason I want to be "far from the madding crowd."

Maybe JHJ got fed up with SNH too that's why he went back to China right away? His Chinese agent seems much better at securing jobs for JHJ. SNH has a lot to answer for if JHJ's career in SK ends.

But why the turmoil in the fan clubs? I can understand the Korean fans feeling disappointed. But why are the Japanese in turmoil too, JHJ is going there. He seems to be taking care of his Japanese fans quite well. And the Chinese sites.... why in turmoil too? JHJ is there, for chrissakes, they should get their act together. they want JHJ there, they should make sure that they support JHJ when he gets there.

You don't need me to translate. Flowervase and prissymom, you're doing very well between the two of you. After a few times, you'll get used to SNH's style. The ONLY pertinent info in their message is their confirmation of JHJ's return to China on Dec.1 to shoot another Chinese drama (which I've already heard from elsewhere the day before.) We already know RO will be broadcast in early 2012 and 49D is broadcasting on Fuji TV in Japan (all reported here before.) The rest is BS (pardon my French!) -- all that about "love calls" (invitations to work from Hong Kong and the U.S.) and shooting a drama and a film in first half of 2012. They still keep saying JHJ will return to the domestic market and he's considering several scripts. They've cried wolf so many times before (one of the reasons I got so fed up!)

I don't know if I should mention this here, but I know for a fact that JHJ's Korean and Japanese fans are upset that he has taken up another Chinese project so soon. I've even heard a very mean remark that JHJ is "Game Over" in Korea. SNH's message hints that JHJ is becoming an international star but let's face it, if JHJ loses his Hallyu status in Korea, do you think there will be demand for him in other countries?

Another worrying development in the world of JHJ is: His fan clubs/ fan sites in Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong are in turmoil. CAFE has more or less thrown in the towel in Korea and Japan. EVER is more or less the only superpower left (but look at the example of the U.S.A. - not easy to be the only superpower.) The oh-so-powerful China site has broken up (many key players left) and also broken up with its ally in Taiwan. The enemy of my enemy is my friend -- Ever heard of this? Well, these ex-Chinese site fans have joined forces with the Taiwan site to form a new site. The Hong Kong site is more or less in limbo. And the site in Thailand is still under repair?

WuliJHJ seems to have degenerated into a tabloid ^^ I still have plenty of stories to tell .....

You don’t need me to translate. Flowervase and prissymom, you’re doing very well between the two of you. After a few times, you’ll get used to SNH’s style. The ONLY pertinent info in their message is their confirmation of JHJ’s return to China on Dec.1 to shoot another Chinese drama (which I’ve already heard from elsewhere the day before.) We already know RO will be broadcast in early 2012 and 49D is broadcasting on Fuji TV in Japan (all reported here before.) The rest is BS (pardon my French!) — all that about “love calls” (invitations to work from Hong Kong and the U.S.) and shooting a drama and a film in first half of 2012. They still keep saying JHJ will return to the domestic market and he’s considering several scripts. They’ve cried wolf so many times before (one of the reasons I got so fed up!)

I don’t know if I should mention this here, but I know for a fact that JHJ’s Korean and Japanese fans are upset that he has taken up another Chinese project so soon. I’ve even heard a very mean remark that JHJ is “Game Over” in Korea. SNH’s message hints that JHJ is becoming an international star but let’s face it, if JHJ loses his Hallyu status in Korea, do you think there will be demand for him in other countries?

同時，雖然韓國國內的粉絲為國內活動覺得可惜，但海外活動真的是個絕好的機會和重要的時機，請以寬容的心像現在這樣給予顯宰支持，守護顯宰成為一個更高位置的韓流明星。

This part, I think, SNH is asking for understanding (generous heart) from the Korean fans because of lack of domestic activities. International activities are important and a great opportunity for JHJ, so please continue to cheer for him.

謝謝大家 - this one is THANK YOU.

*****************************************************************

I think some Korean fans are not happy with this development.

For myself, I am happy for JHJ and will continue to support him wherever he goes to seek his fortune. He has an opportunity to advance his career in China, he should grab it while the opportunity is there. Not everyone is presented with such an opportunity.

I also used Google translate to translate from the Chinese translation. Here is the result:

Hello, everyone, Star & Hit Entertainment.

You waited a long time, right?

Here to report JHJ’s future plans after he finished filming RO.

After filming RO we considered a return to domestic (meaning SKorea) activities to focus on the domestic market. Scripts/projects/works were explored.

We worried/deliberated over the final decision

RO will be broadcast in China early next year.

The filming (of the new drama) in Shanghai is expected to last 2 months. Still waiting for the translated scripts. JHJ and team left for China last Dec 1 for meetings.

Still finalizing the performance contract. Have not received the translated script /general content of the drama yet. More information about the drama will be released later.

In addition, 49 DAYS, which is airing in Japan’s FUJI TV weekly, is receiving a good response. Promotions are scheduled for the first half of 2012 in Japan.

"(Chinese drama-related news will tell ...
Hello! Star Entertainment is the yen hit.
Paenyeoreobundeul did wait a lot ^ ^

Difference at the end of shooting, but johyeonjae's rouge paewang is to inform future action plans
'Rouge paewang' shooting back at the end of the domestic activities were based on the weight until the work has appeared there was a positive review.

When a final decision is deliberating 'rouge paewang' highly anticipated in China by early next year on a very jalnaseo word of mouth from other TV and film appearances were flooded, of.

Among them are Hong Kong-based major distributor in the United States in production until the first half of next year, suggesting that like movies and other dramas have a very aggressive reobeukol appeared in the midst of it all, think positively about that.

Shinhan Bank said the current flow of Asian vision of a star seems quite generous support of a major production in the future of the foolish one thousand people there was a return to the domestic market has support for a bigger challenge now need to think boldly and soon the first drama has been to promote.

Shooting is scheduled to continue for two months in Shanghai, translations are waiting for a full production scenario, yeonchultim on 1 December for meetings and to China has now leave Mr. staff

Still appeared to finalize the contract it did not receive a translation script for more information on the show will let you know later

In addition, in the first half of 2012 in Japan, the drama of the '49 days 'getting a good response to the weekly Fuji TV '49 days' drama in the planning and promotion ilbonpaen soon have some good news for anyone who's probably out there looking for Uh

Guknaepaen minute addition to their domestic activities, international activities, a little bit disappointed I think that is important when a great opportunity and generous heart, as you cheer for your larger Hallyu stars, stay tuned to the growing seeds of the current

And so really good in the first half of next year as domestic work will be rewarded with steadfast love paenbundeului

Merry Christmas to wuliJHJ and you all! It must be a difficult decision for you and I wish the English speaking world will continue to support JHJ through anything that is available on the internet. The power of information is so strong that there will be other means we connect again in some other platform in the future.
I read the translation of the SNH message from KOW and it seems like the Chinese speaking world will take over as the priority in getting JHJ with jobs and roles to fill up much quicker than previously in Korea.
Indeed the growth of the entertainment business is rapid in Asia and JHJ is now getting a big hit in the mainland very soon. We should be glad he has now established an international career and gaining more exposure in life and develop himself to a better artist along the way.
wuliJHJ has been the greatest supporter all the way through JHJ's journey from the beginning. We should find a way to 'archive' the articles here so that one day we can show this piece to JHJ and other fans as one of the key exhibits in the future museum for JHJ fans around the world!
