Couldn’t log on for most of the day today – something wrong with my internet connection most probably due to the typhoon – so I just found out there is severe rain and flooding in SKorea. My prayers go to Koreans in this most trying time. I also pray that our dear JHJ, his loved ones, and our fellow JHJ fans in Korea are all safe and okay.

The news I read said that reservists of the Korean Army are joining in the rescue efforts. I know that our JHJ is still a reservist (will be for the next 5 years, I think) with their Army; I will pray for his safety if ever he joins the rescue effort.

1. There is a local drama airing in the same channel with the title 100 Days. Most probably they changed the title of 49 Days to lessen confusion.

2. The Philippines is predominantly a Roman Catholic country, 49Days to rebirth is a Buddhist belief hence holds no special significance to Roman Catholics.

I read that during the first week rating of 49D/Pure Love is in the 15% range. This is actually a good number because it airs so late but people are still tuning in. I also read that the station removed some scenes that are not significant to the story. I don’t watch it myself because I cannot access the channel at home, but I read that the dubber for JHJ is the same dubber for his other dramas that the same channel aired (Only You, Forbidden Love and 3Dads 1Mom), he is actually good.

But to be honest I prefer to watch JHJ dramas in its original form (Korean language with English subtitles) because JHJ’s voice is just so good! Watching him with another man’s voice is just not the same…

If JHJ comes to the Philippines to promote he’ll make many of his Filipino fans very happy.

I wonder why they changed the title of the drama to Pure Love…why didn’t they use 49 Days?
