wow i also didn’t know he is the guy from Beethoven virus, because he seemed to age alot in Beethoven Virus…

Thanks Jen and Prissymom. Oh, so he is that guy from” Beethoven Virus.” That conductor! (Not good in remembering Korean names; I only know JHJ perfectly). I watched that drama too but didn’t finish it. It didn’t appeal to me either but I loved the music.

Jelly, I recognize only 2 of the rest of the sons.

Choi Chul ho- the eldest, the one wearing eyeglasses. He made a name for himself in 2009 (after playing bit parts for most of his career) for his performance in Queen of Housewives (?), then he was cast in Dong yi (last year?). But he had to bow out of the drama when he was embroiled in a controversy while the drama is airing – he was caught on CCTV kicking and punching a woman who criticized his acting while they were drinking in a restaurant. He was drunk at the time. At first he denied the incident, then when the police released the CCTV he had no choice but to admit what he did. He issued a public apology but not to the woman he hurt, but to the fans of Dong yi, which further enraged Korean citizens. In the end he left the drama midway, I just don’t know if he was asked to leave the drama by the producers or if he left voluntarily.

Kim Myung Min – the third son, the one who is always moody and angtsy, the one who showed up with a bruised face. He is a big star in Korea, he has been receiving awards for his performances in various projects. But he has been doing mostly movies lately. I have seen him in only 1 drama – Beethoven Virus – I didn’t finish the drama, just didn’t appeal to me.

I would say so. I’ve seen dramas that the two brothers next to him. I don’t know who the one that died. Even the guy that guy that the older brother saved is from the very popular drama call “All in”

I want to see ep 3-3 the ending of ep3…. I saw ep 4 on YouTube but can’t find the ending of ep3

Are the rest of the “sons” as popular as JHJ now?

dinner scene – JHJ’s character is the youngest in this family and yet he is seated at the head of the table (hence at the center). Isn’t that seat normally reserved for the eldest (grandma) or the eldest male (father) in the family? Even in the last picture of the 4 brothers JHJ is in the middle, when most of the time the youngest in these family dramas is normally just a newbie or the least popular hence would be placed on the side or at the back.

The director of this drama broke tradition by placing JHJ at the head of the table (in the dinner scene) and in the middle (in the group picture) – could it be because JHJ is the best looking in this drama? or could it be that even then the director knew that JHJ will be a big star someday?
