- wuliJHJ and to our Translator - Thank you very, very much for explaining that particular line. I appreciate the hardwork you put into translating every article.

Sometimes JHJ's good looks and perfect acting of the pure male/romantic man can prove a deterrent to getting the roles that he would like to get. He must feel frustrated sometimes if all the offers he's getting are more of the same roles when he wants something more raw and closer to real life. And I admire his desire to go beyond his acting comfort zone. I hope he finds that role that will satisfy his artistic heart.

- “Because I had no sleep, so even when the camera started rolling, I still felt like a zombie. And I had indigestion and constipation*, so the skin on my face became coarse and bloodless. My mouth was so dry I could not produce a sound; I could not open my eyes; I could not utter even a few simple lines.” - when I read this again it sounded like JHJ was being tortured!!! Poor thing indeed!

I bow to you and our translator wuliJHJ! I don't know how both of you can do it day in and day out without missing a beat!

I hope you were able to settle everything for your Mom. I'm on the same boat as you are, trying to settle my Mom's affairs, (per her request). It's not easy at all. At 3:00 a.m. Saturday, she lost her beloved dog. Early in the morning, I had to take care of everything at the pet cemetery. On top of that, I had to make sure my Mom was okay. She cried all weekend long and I couldn't bear seeing her cry.

Everyday, I tell myself how lucky I am to have found this blog. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. I bet even our passers-by are as thankful as I am to you when they found this blog. I just hope JHJ knows how hard you work for him and his fans. I'm sure he will be most thankful to you.

You are so right wuliJHJ! "We are all too human and we sometimes make mistakes, but our love for JHJ is PERFECT!!!".

As always, thank you wuliJHJ!!!

I'd like to say something about our M.O. (the way we work). With a Korean article, our translator translates from Korean to Chinese and I translate from Chinese to English. I am very much aware of the flaws and pitfalls of such indirect translation. I take great pains to make sure we've got everything accurate, especially what JHJ says. I talk with our translator all the time, even though we live in different countries. Our translator is most conscientious and hardworking, and is the most dedicated JHJ fan. I was out all day yesterday (from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) going about my mother's business, sitting in conference with her bankers and lawyers. I didn't even have time to change (after first going to the post office to mail the last of the competition prizes), so I was sitting among these suits in my T-shirt and jeans, looking thoroughly out of place. After that I had to immediately go to my mother's place. By the time I got back to the hotel after dinner and saw the above Korean article, I was ready to drop dead. I sent it to our translator and told her NOT to bother with it till the next day since I wouldn't be able to tackle it anyway. She too had an emotionally draining day, having spent it holding the hand of a friend who's just got divorced. But she insisted on translating it at once, and nothing I could say could talk her out of it. I received her translation a little before 10 p.m. and immediately started to work on the English translation (even though my aching body felt like hitting the pillows.) I finished by 11 p.m. (or so I thought), but then technical problems started surfacing. Somehow the font was SMALL instead of normal size. I tried everything in the book but still could not correct this problem. After almost an hour (and totally exhausted), I had to switch to a new post and type everything all over again! COPY AND PASTE was the cause of the problem, so I dared not use it again. By the time I finally managed to get post into publishable shape, it was already past midnight. So I might as well publish it even though it was meant for the next day (in fact, it was the next day!) And almost immediately there was a comment. Fans are waiting to read whatever we have to offer them, so how could we not work hard - for them, for JHJ? How could I not match our translator's efforts? How could I not make sure our "passers-by" have something to see when they pass by? JHJ says he wants to play a "human" role (someone imperfect who occasionally makes mistakes.) We are all too human and we sometimes make mistakes, but our love for JHJ is perfect!

I love this picture so much! Thank you wuliJHJ!

This reporter really said it all when she/he stated: "Nobody has eyes like JHJ’s — like a young prince’s, their pupils pure and speak volumes". A big WOW! Most of us have always described his eyes as the window to his soul. And this reporter described his eyes like a young prince's. And it's oh so true! I myself got hooked on JHJ because of his eyes (first), then the rest is history). His eyes and facial expressions really speak volumes!

JHJ did say that this year he wants to strive for both work and love. I won't be surprised if he has found someone and is on the "courtship" stage by now. I think he is trying to prepare his fans for what's to come as far as his lovelife is concerned. I'm very excited for him! As if my eldest son came home and told me he has found that certain someone he has been looking for. YAY!!!

Poor JHJ worked so hard to give his fans his best as his comeback drama. I do hope he's getting his much needed R & R. But I do hope we will see him again very very soon.

Thanks so much for the translation and update wuliJHJ!!!

wuliJHJ or anyone, can you explain what this line means = "I’d prefer to play a humane role in an empty place/empty corner."

"In the last month he could not even go home for the night or get any sleep at all. It was so tough he lost his voice more than once." - Now I understand why in the very last scene of JHJ with SJH's tree, during the voice over, his voice sounded so rough! If not for the inflections (?) that is totally JHJ, I would have thought it was a different person doing the voice over for the HK character.

Thank you for the English translation, wuliJHJ! You are working so hard and so late - it's past 12 mn already!

Squeeeeee!!!! JHJ is so handsome in that picture! HIs eyes, my gawd, so big and beautiful, but oh so sad..... even the reporter can't help but say something about his beautiful eyes - like a prince? this reporter must be a fan! Not even real-life Prince William (balding already) or Prince Harry (not as handsome as his bro) can hold a candle to our JHJ much less his eyes!

- "I still felt like a zombie" - what a handsome and awesome actor this zombie is! 5555

- "I had indigestion and constipation" - JHJ is so honest! He even mentions "constipation"! At no time did he look constipated in any of his scenes! ....

- I love JHJ's relationship with Son Byun ho. I can sense the closeness, affection and respect that each have for the other in their scenes together. JHJ always develops a good relationship with his older male colleagues. There's Lee Chang hoon (Mok Ra Soo) in SDY; even the actor who played his father in SDY and OY expressed regret that he couldn't "take care" of JHJ in SDY.

he did appear a bit pale and haggard towards the 2nd half of 49 days... but didn't imagine it was this torturing.., how can someone still looked so handsome and acted so well while suffering a whole month without proper sleep and rest... he is still very amazing...
