Your mother-in-law reminded me of my late grandmother, who passed away after 2 yrs with dementia... And yes when some elderly fall sick, there is alot of problems with the relatives around...

I share similar feelings about 49 days, it's definitely not my favorite, not only han kang is not pivotal role, also about the ending... but I still love it and proud of it as it causes the Han Kang fever in Korea now and probably all over the world soon. And it's true that 49 days and Han Kang character attracts younger crowds, that's what's happening to my younger friends...

I'll continue to support jhj even if he's attached, but I probably will have some incontrollable "sour' sentiments towards the girl haha... I think it's really scary for Korean man to get married, can't imagine if I'm Korean, how would I know the girl i'm marrying has gone under the knife or not? You won't be 100% sure until your kids are born... Hope jhj has wisdom in selecting the life-long partner...

- Question about 49D in LA: are the English subtitles good? I hope they are, so that the official DVD will have good Eng subs too.

- But at least we'll know that the woman truly loves our JHJ if she is still willing to share her life with him knowing the extra responsibilities attached to marrying him.

- glass half full: that's how I have been looking at JHJ's involvement in 49D. Despite my issues with the drama, I am still thankful of its positive impact on JHJ's marketability as an actor.

- JHJ gf/getting married: I will continue to support JHJ even if he becomes "attached"; but sad reality is he will surely lose fans when that happens (the same thing to many stars before him). I hope that will not deter him from making his relationship public when the time comes. I think he's doing a good job preparing his fans for that eventuality by honestly saying that he's ready to fall in love in his recent interviews.

WuliJHJ, I salute your husband! He's really one-of-a-kind! Imagine him telling you to rush so you won't miss your idol. He's really a keeper! 555

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. I can relate to what you and your husband are going through. I will keep her in my prayers.

Speaking of sisters-in-law, I'm lucky to have 2 (my husband's sister and my brother's wife). Although in the beginning they can't believe I have become a fan of a star (at my age!), they understood after I told them that JHJ (in so many ways) has helped me deal with what I'm going through.

49 Days will be one of my favorites because this was when I found JHJ. I have seen some, not all of his dramas and I loved all of his performances. His eyes and facial expressions always says it all.

I totally agree with you about buy 1 get 3 free. I don't think that in this day and age, young women will go for that. They would want to have their husbands all to themselves. Plus, we all know one way or another, one of the 3 or even all of them will get into the couples "business". It may be okay in the old days, but these days, I doubt it.

Our dear JHJ must love tall and skinny ladies. She's 5'6" and 108 lbs. Very petite!

Speaking of Koreans whose beauty is man-made. I've always wondered why they would do it. My husband told me that he noticed most of them obviously have had their teeth fixed and of course, that's nothing, but neither of us realized until just very recently that they have so much done from head to toe! I'm sure JHJ will have a very hard time looking for a lady whose beauty is au naturel.

Like you, I do hope that when the time comes that he has a girlfriend again, he won't hide her from his fans and the media. I will love and support him just the same. But of course, some will turn their backs on him once he is "attached".

Thank you for sharing wuliJHJ.

WuliJHJ, I have the same feeling with you. If JHJ has a Girlfriend, I hope he won't hide it. But I know some managements don't like their actors showing their Girlfriend open in public because some reasons, although the actors themself want to open the relationship. I wish his Girlfriend will accept all good things and bad things from him. And also someone who can understand and encourage him in many ways. It's hard to be his sister being unmarried, but being unmarried is not her fault. I wish his girlfriend can unite with his sister. Your story about LA reminds me when I lived in Liverpool 10 years ago. I lived in an old rented house. We had to call the landlord everythime something in the house broken.
