“49 Days”: Competition results

NATE organized a voting competition while “49 Days” was broadcasting: Which scene touches the recesses of women’s hearts more – the scene of JIW kissing LYW on the forehead or the scene of JHJ embracing LYW? We didn’t think it’s worth mentioning before because the skeptical side of us knew what the results would be.
And we’re right! Results — 50% vs 50%! We’ve never had much faith in the validity of these online voting. The computer savvy fans can exercise their skills and with one click of the mouse can create 10,000 votes, we’re told. We’re posting this now because even though it’s 50% vs 50%, it’s not really a tie. JHJ has 134 votes more!!!

This competition is for SKoreans only, right? THE HUG reverberated in the 4 corners of the world, if international fans were allowed to vote, it would have been a lopsided victory (on JHJ’s side)!
Plus if JHJ was allowed to kiss someone, he would have won the competition hands down.
I have read comments in other websites complaining about the lack of JHJ kissing scene. Some ppl even say that they watched and waited until ep 20 for a JHJ kiss, and were so disappointed it never happened. I think it is good incentive for them to watch JHJ’s next drama… 5555
Yes, prissymom, the competition was on a Korean website and mostly Koreans voted, as far as we know. But to us, of course, there’s no competition at all – JHJ will win hands down against anyone, anytime! (even if he doesn’t kiss anyone.) We think it’s just a publicity gimmick. As to the rarity of kissing scenes in JHJ dramas, JHJ has said (don’t know whether he’s changed his mind now) that he doesn’t much like kissing on the screen. If you look carefully, you’ll find some of these kissing scenes are just tricks of the camera (a certain angle, no lips touching.)
