Thank you prissymom, wuli it’s new knowledge, in Thailand is different from other country our mother & father day are our Queen & King Birthday (Aug 12th & Dec 5th). You are right Wuli, everyday is parent’s day 5555.

varandhorn, Mother’s Day is celebrated on various days in different parts of the world, most commonly in March, April, or May as a day to honour mothers and motherhood. May 8 is Mother’s Day in the U.S.A., Australia, Canada, China, Japan, etc. Mother’s Day has now become totally commercialized. The flower shops are doing roaring business and the restaurants are packed. But as I tell my friends, if your kids are good to you, everyday is Mother’s Day. And: Don’t wait for your kids (or your husband) to be good to you; be good to yourself. If being a JHJ fan makes you happy, go for it!

May 8 is also Parents’ Day is S. Korea (originally Mother’s Day but re-designated Parents’ Day so the fathers won’t feel left out.) Although not a national holiday, it is still deemed one of the special days in the S. Korean calendar. I said a prayer for JHJ because this is the first Parents’ Day when he has only one parent now. It is always on days like this that one misses most the loved ones that are no longer here.
