Today is Chinese New Year, and this is the Year of the Rabbit.

Here’s Jo Hyun-Jae wishing his fans prosperity and happiness on this auspicious day:

Just tidbits from other sources but better than nothing, since we have no information from SNH or photo from KOW.  We were hoping they would release a photo of JHJ on his first day of shooting on Feb.1, but the KOW only gave us a few words.  We all know JHJ is taciturn; we just don’t know his MC and official websites are so publicity-shy too.

You saw the real thing in yesterday’s post - these are JHJ fans’ creations.

Most JHJ fans have only heard the Guardian song on the video on yesterday’s post.  That’s the only song on their ill-fated CD that the boy band ever performed in public.

Here you will find two more songs that you’ve probably never heard before.  In the 3 following clips (not counting first one INTRO), you have to wait for them to load.  The first two should have 3 small photos and the third 5.  Click on any of the small photos to play song.  The second and third are the “new” songs.

Listening to them is an interesting experience.  It’s like turning a leaf back to JHJ’s past.

Second “Secret Garden” — is “49 Days” worth waiting for? 

“Secret Garden” brought to a climax the subject of exchange of souls.  When “Scret Garden” is still the talk of the town, SBS is showng its new card of “combination of souls”.

SBS indicates: “It is still uncertain whether this drama will start as scheduled.  ‘Sign’ is going strong and could be prolonged.”

All JHJ fans know he was a singer before he became an actor.  The 18-year-old JHJ was in a boy band called Guardian which disbanded soon after releasing their one and only CD.  What is featured in this post must be one of the few original CDs still in existence.

We don’t know how our friend B dug up this.  (She has the skills of an archaelogist!)  The Korean fan who posted this somehow stamped her name on JHJ in practically every photo! (just short of defacing him!)

The above photos, although rather blurry, are very precious and belong to the JHJ archives.  Are you able to identify JHJ among the four boys?  We’ve posted the video of the only song they ever performed in public here (#2 on CD.)  We’ve watched it N times and still enjoy it every single time.

According to the KOW, “49 Days” will begin shooting on February 1 (today.)  But according to other sources, it seems shooting of the drama has already begun.  Jung Il-Woo left a message on Twitter on January 26 to say it’s 49 days from the start of “49 Days” (cute!) and they’ve started work. 

And then yesterday (Jan.31) there appeared various reports in the Korea media that on Jan.26 they’ve filmed the montage part and on Jan.31 they would begin shooting on location.

Perhaps the KOW’s Feb.1 start-date refers to JHJ’s part actually being filmed.  In any case, JHJ is now officially shooting his new drama in 3 years.  We congratulate him and send our best wishes!
