in all the buzz about the KOW message i forgot to comment on the videos you posted, wuliJHJ. Thank you very much! JHJ is awesome! His voice is so beautiful, he really could make it as a singer if he wants to. He looks so ruggedly handsome in his long dark coat, like a rock star! usa4jhj, even if you can read Chinese, you may not be able to understand some of Michelle’s colloquial Cantonese (specifically Hong Kong) expressions, e.g. 吹水 literally translates as “blow water”, but it actually means “boast, exaggerate, fabricate.” Cantonese is very much a living dialect and keeps evolving every day. One of these days (if you are interested), I’ll tell you how the title “Only You” is translated into Hong Kong Chinese.

The difference is mainly between the nature of official websites and fans websites. Lee Yo-Won’s website is a fansite and can indulge in chitchat, speculation, exaggeration. Mr. M (mandalaywith) is issuing non-stop on various websites a stream of news about JHJ’s new drama, but those are only his personal speculation and change all the time, so we have no way of knowing whether they are true or not. JHJ’s official websites cannot speculate or exaggerate and have to be responsible. Maybe the official websites have to wait for the TV network or production company to make the official announcement. At this stage the KOW can only put the news that JHJ’s new project has been confirmed in the ONLY FAN section – as a sort of casual comment.

2011 was not a good year for me and so I was a little bit of down greeting 2011. However, your site always gives me the inspiration to face a new day everyday. I thank you for the video especially the Tsunami one. I feel he could be a singer and an actor as well, if he was only given the right management. His version of the song showed he has the ability to sing. Right tone, pitch and song for him. I was listening to his songs while I was doing my job at work. Please keep up the good work of providing daily information about JHJ. I would like JHJ to be with Jang Na Ra. I feel like Jang Na Ra is now my favorite Korean actress. Maybe do a musical, romance drama. Please keep up the good work.

李媛瑤網站是影迷網站，可以當閑聊、八卦、吹水。韓國的 M先生也不斷在網站發佈JHJ的新劇，但只是個人推測，常常轉變，就不知是不是真。
官方網站不能吹水，要負責任。官網可能要等電視台或制作公司正式公佈才可發佈。現階段官網管理員也只將新劇已定的消息放在 “Only Fans” 部份講，當閑聊。

If JHJ is indeed married (just wild speculation, no basis in facts at all!) then he is enjoying a long honeymoon! Do Koreans have any superstition about mixing good (wedding) and bad (funeral) events? JHJ’s “Only You” co-star Lee Chun-Hee recently announced his impending nuptials in March, and his bride-to-be is expecting! Every Korean actor who got married in the last couple of years or is about to get married is starting his new family of 3! If JHJ were to……we don’t know what to think. So KOW, please announce “surprise news” ASAP!

I don’t like surprises, especially since they are often something bad that you don’t expect. But in this case, it does not sound like something bad. The only thing that will surprise me is if JHJ is engaged, or even married. But that would be a pleasant surprise. I don’t know about other fans, but I’d be delighted.

A totally new drama? Good! Never been a fan of costume drama (“Faith”) or remake (“Love Song”), and I think JHJ pairs better with Lee Yo Won than Kim Hee Sun or Yoon Eun Hye. And thanks for the JFM videos, wuliJHJ. Happy new year!

You may not have seen the two comments we left last evening on yesterday’s post (Jan.1), so here they are again:

1. KOW Administrator just left a message to wish fans Happy New Year and to say he has a “surprise news” for us. But he does not reveal what it is. We hate this cheap trick!

2. Now we have to borrow this news from Lee Yo-Won’s website — unconfirmed rumour that LYW and JHJ will co-star in a SBS drama (as yet unnamed) to be televised in March 2011. Drama written by So Hyun-Kyung (who wrote “A Brilliant Legacy” and “Prosecutor Princess”.) Bae Soo-Bin and Nam Gyu-Ri will also be in it.

And this is today:

If this rumour turns out to be true, we’ll be so mad at SNH and KOW! Why do we have to learn of news of our JHJ from another actor’s website? If the “surprise news” is this drama with LYW, then it is no surprise at all. If it is something else (which is what the comments left at KOW Administrator’s message are speculating – and there are lots of wild speculation!), we demand to know it now!
