The charity auction in Thailand in aid of flood victims took place yesterday, November 30.  Our friend Sky and other Thai fans were there to support Jo Hyun-Jae.

Exhibition of stars’ memorabilia

At 6 p.m. the moment everybody had been waiting for finally arrived.  The items were moved on stage and the auction began promptly at 6:30 p.m.  This initial auction (another is on Dec.3) is billed as the Highlight of the event, with only 4 superstars’ items up for grabs – JHJ (only actor – CK jeans) and K-Pop groups Super Junior (LeeTeuk’s Gucci belt), TVQX (U-know’s bag), and Girls Generation (pink suit).

Of course our friends were only interested in the sole JHJ item.  After fierce bidding, JHJ’s Calvin Klein jeans were sold for 8,800 Thai Baht – nearly US$300 (base price 5000) – to Botun, the same super JHJ fan who bought his sunglasses at the 2008 charity auction.  She’s also the lady who donated the jasmine trees in 2008.  Congratulations!  Others have to wait for the next round of auction on December 3.
