Above video is by Hart and documents Jo Hyun-Jae’s discharge on June 19, 2010, set to the song “The dream continues” by the Japanese singer-songwriter (and actor) Koji Tamaki, who used to be the frontman of the very famous and successful band Anzen Chitai.

Here are some previously unreleasd photos of the handshaking event:

See the presents for JHJ piling up in the photo above? Here are some of the big ones we mentioned in our June 23 post “Discharge Diary (3)” – from JHJ’s Japanese fans.

Thousand Origami Cranes is a group of 1000 origami paper cranes held together by strings. It is believed 1000 origami cranes make a person’s wish come true. There are 10,000 here for JHJ – from the Japanese Official Fan Club (JOFC) .

Paper cranes painstakingly folded by JHJ’s Japanese fans – to wish him good luck and good health. Fly! Spread your dream in the sky!

Another discharge present from JOFC – a cake – boots (OFF!) on top mean military service is over!

Love the cake! Simple, but very elegant.
Thank you, wuliJHJ, for explaining the thousand origami cranes. Have always been curious about it.
