Hello, I am new in this blog site. And I want to congratulate the administrators of this site, you have done a great job.
Regarding the 2 remakes of JHJ dramas, two most the most gorgeous and hottest actor in the Philippines played JHJ role. Sam Milby for Only You and Piolo Pascual for Lobo (Forbidden Love). In a way, it gave justice on JHJ's part. But both of these remakes had one leading lady, Ms. Angel Locsin.

Yes, that's right - OY was the one that got remade in the Philippines, not 3/1. I never did get the chance to watch the Filipino version of OY, but I heard that it did quite well in the ratings. I am not really that fond of remakes, esp.when it comes to JHJ's dramas because in my heart, in my mind and in my eyes any actor who will take over JHJ's role in any of his dramas will always be less brilliant. But Filipinos believe in the saying "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". For a foreign drama to be given a local adaptation is indeed a great compliment to that foreign drama. It means that the original drama was well-received, the performances of the actors involved well-remembered. And mind you, not only one but 2 JHJ dramas were given local adaptations in the Philippines! Forbidden Love's Filipino version is titled "Lobo" (Filipino word for fox). And Filipino adaptations of OY and FL did very well in the ratings! So I wouldn't wonder if a third JHJ drama (3D1M) gets a Filipino adaptation in the future...

Hi! Just to clarify, the Philippines did not (yet) do a re-make of 3 Dads/1 Mom. What was done and shown last year was a re-make of Only You. Our Han Yee-jun doesn't look a bit like JHJ, but he's also gorgeous. He's name's Sam Milby (you can check him out at www.sammilby.org).

I'd still go for JHJ, though. =)
