2006 Birthday Party

wulijohyunjae | March 30, 2010

This video is a little “misty” — it’s like watching Jo Hyun-Jae through a mist while he is singing “I love you” at this birthday party in 2006.  The audio is also a little muffled.  But who cares?  We’re grateful to be given a glimpse into this exclusive event.

The original singer/writer of “I Love You” is Yutaka Oazki, a great talent in Japanese music industry, who died tragically at the age of 26 in 1992. Both the melody and lyrics are beautiful, a bit sentimental though. Lee Dong Gun, a good friend of JHJ, also sang this song in his 2005 Japan fan meeting. Till now, I still think LDG is the best performer for this song.
