The first time I watched SDY, very early on in the drama I truly felt that JHJ became Jang and Jang became JHJ. They became one and the same to me. So it is no wonder that when JHJ describes Jang, he sounds like Jang too.

And I am truly impressed with both JHJ and LBH PD - JHJ for living his character (Jang) so much that he could feel confident enough to voice out his opinions about his character to a great director like LBH; and for LBH PD for believing in JHJ's talent that he listened to his suggestion (a very young actor at that), even going to the extent of following JHJ's suggestion. WOW, I am truly awed and moved! That must have been a truly exhilirating experience for JHJ - to be able to convince an experienced director like LBH to his way of thinking!

Thank you so much for sharing the English translation of the Japanese article with us, wuliJHJ! I am sure you worked hard scouring the internet for a version that you could translate to English.
