The Creation
When God had made the earth and sky,
the flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals,
the fish, the birds and bees.
And when at last He’d finished,
not one was quite the same.
He said, “I’ll walk this world of mine
and give each one a name.”
And so He travelled far and wide
and everywhere He went,
a little creature followed Him
until its strength was spent.
When all were named upon the earth
and in the sky and sea,
the little creature said, “Dear Lord,
there’s not one left for me.”
Kindly, the Father said to him,
“I’ve left you to the end.
I’ve turned my own name back to front
and called you dog, My friend.”

Everytime I look at the photo of 5-year old JHJ and his puppy a silly smile blooms on my face!!!
The child JHJ’s puppy and Corporal JHJ’s army dog both resemble their masters (i.e. good-looking), but the pet spaniel……what funny beady eyes! Remember that photo of JHJ holding Ssing-yi up during his Dec. leave? Beauty and the Beast!

By not the way: I found something I bet it´s not new to you but I was so surprised that I can´t sharing: JHJ has two pages in Facebook.
One has 142 fans (and no info about him) and the other only 10 (and the usual info about his career and a photo and the latest news was posted in 21/January).
I know it just can´t be created by him but I just can´t help myself dreaming that, after 19/Jun, they were because that would mean that we could leave some messages directly to him and, maybe, get a personal answer (two-three words).
Wouldn´t that be nice?

ingenue42, we don’t really know but we doubt the Facebook accounts have anything to do with JHJ himself. He’s not one to promote himself that way, and he’d be the first to admit he’s not computer-savvy.
