This was in the summer of 2003 when JHJ was promoting “First Love”. Observe the looks on his female co-stars’ faces. The JHJ of today will not be performing this kind of stunt in public anymore.

didn’t know JHJ practices aikido, definitely didn’t know he can break bricks with his fist! i have the same surprised expression as his female co-stars after watching him break those bricks. LOL!!!
but why does he have to break bricks while promoting the drama? in the few episodes i’ve seen of first love (only a few episodes are available for viewing online) i didn’t see him breaking any bricks. can’t help but notice too that he seems a bit uncomfortable doing that stunt in that show. it’s as if he’s saying to himself: “do i really have to this? why am i breaking bricks here when i didn’t break anything at all in the drama, not even the jaw of that professor dude who broke my girl’s heart?” (or did he in the episodes i didn’t get to see?)……..
prissymom, you’re so funny! No, JHJ didn’t break any bricks in “First Love”. If I remember correctly, he scratched the Prof.’s car out of jealousy.
