Michelle, strange that you should mention Colin Firth who is one of my favourite British actors. Yes, he just won the Best Actor award at the Venice Film Festival which closed on Sept.14 — as a GAY college professor grieving for his dead lover in Tom Ford’s “A Single Man” (yes, that Tom Ford, the fashion designer.) I think he is a different kind of actor from JHJ whose repertoire is broader. Firth specializes in playing brooding characters and romantic roles (that is why he makes me cringe in the film version of “Mamma Mia”. Moral of story: DON’T go to Hollywood!) JHJ can do all that as well as handle action roles (“Forbidden Love” and fight scenes in SDY.) Firth is the quintessential Mr. Darcy and JHJ also has his signature role in SDY. I am happy for Firth that his talents is recognized in Venice, but JHJ does not have to win any acting awards to win our affections. And JHJ’s acting future is still wide open; he just needs the right roles in the right dramas.

Colin Firth has won the best leading actor in `威尼斯影展’. He performed as a guy in the film, `A Single Man’. He was Mr Darcy in the `Pride and Prejudice” BCC TV drama) and `Bridge Jones’ Diary’. This actor is similiar to JHJ under certain circumstances. He is also low-keyed and few of words. A an actor, people usually consider him to be too well-behaved and gentleman. I am sure that JHJ can prove his talent of acting in a film as Colin Firth after he retreats from the army.

But that laundry detergent is for washing machine. Who still washes clothes by hand nowadays, except Korean soldiers? And I notice from the “Army dog soldier” video that they use soap!

I think it is hand wash liquid. Also, I note that they sent washing powder and hand cream as well. They must know that poor JHJ has to wash his own clothes by hand!
