The following is the latest news of Jo Hyun-Jae from the official website (September 7, 2009):
Hi, this is Korean staff. I am writing this diary after a long absence.
Summer is almost over. Please take care because it is the turning point of the seasons.
I am here to inform you of the latest condition of Jo Hyun-Jae.
Last week JHJ went on a 3 nights/4 days military training.
I also have experience in the military. This is the most memorable training during military service.
On this 3 nights/4 days intensive training, you have to go on a 40 km trek carrying a heavy backpack.
It is tough training — you get blisters on your feet, it is so hot you can’t even walk properly, and some even fall by the wayside.
I am happy to report JHJ successfully completed his training. He is mentally and physically healthy.
However, he now has a tan on his face which makes him look even more manly.
I will write again if there is more news of JHJ

Thanks for sharing. It is quite a feat to undergo such intensive training and it takes a lot of courage and determination to accomplish this and you never ceases to amaze us JHJ with your willpower to attain such remarkable achievement. Congratulations Hyunjae.
WuliJHJ, I am a bit confused. Is this the same 40-km trek as the one in your 2/23/09 post (just giving more details this time) or a new 40-km trek? Because in the previous post it said that the 40-km trek happened on a 2-day camping trip, but in the article above the trek took 4days/3 nights.

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised anymore by the things that JHJ can do. He has always shown that he is up to any task/challenge set before him, be it in his career, in his personal life, and now in his military service. Through his hard work, diligence and determination, he has always performed beyond what people expected of him.
I am so glad to know this exciting information. Thank you, wuliJHJ. I am so proud of him! 역시 우리 왕자님!(Indeed he is our prince!)
