thanks so much for replying..I really want to do the stuffs you're suggesting but, my work is really getting in the way. I have back to back duties.. It seems you're so into this JHJ guy...don't get me wrong but I never knew someone who is as passionate as you are to an actor. I admire you for that. I mentioned JHJ to my mom and she knows him and watched his shows in the Phil. I'm about to leave for another tedious duty but, I love your posts. And I will try to read more. Thanks again and have a good day.

hi again, emcee, i would suggest that you read the earlier entries made by wuliJHJ in this site. they are a great introductory course (so to speak, like a JHJ 101) to JHJ the person, the actor and his body of work. Happy reading!

Hi Emcee, yes, JHJ is Korean, I "discovered" him when his drama Love Letter was aired on GMA-7 a few years ago, and since then I have been getting information about him from various forums about him on the internet. Love Letter is a beautiful story where he played a Roman Catholic priest. According to wuliJHJ, Hyun Jae has visited the Philippines before, his first trip abroad in fact. You can check out his other dramas online at www.mysoju.com and www.veoh.com, they are in Korean with English subtitles. But some cannot be found online due to copyright issues, but they are available on DVDs, maybe you can check out Korean stores near where you live. I find that his dramas are better watched in the original Korean version than in a dubbed version because his voice is so good, it is described as a deep baritone.

hi prissymom,

Yes we do have TFC here. I didn't know that "Lobo" was based from a Korean novel too. I didn't watch the whole "Lobo" series but, was able to get the story from my mom. She loved it and she needs someone to listen to her after she watches it so more or less I got the story. This JHJ guy, he is Korean, right? How did you know about him, besides watching his shows.?Has he visited the Phil. yet?I will try to watch the Korean version time permits. Thanks so much for your reply. Btw, they don't show any Korean shows here in our Cable and not on TFC as well. Have a great day.

Hi again, emcee, if you've seen the Filipino version of "Only You", then you must be a TFC subscriber. Have you seen "Lobo"? Well, "Lobo" (Filipino for fox), is based on another JHJ drama - Gumiho/Forbidden Love/9-Tailed Fox. Another JHJ drama shown on ABS was 3 Dads 1 Mom, however, I don't know if it was shown on TFC.

Hi, emcee, yes, I am a Filipina, but I am just a guest contributor here. The real owner of this site is wuliJoHyunJae, who created this site for English-speaking fans of JHJ (like me). Yes, JHJ is well-known in the Philippines, he has many fans here. I hope you will also watch the original dramas of JHJ not just the Filipino remakes. You will discover what a great actor and wonderful person he is.

hi,

I just read your entries here. Are you Filipina? It seems you live in the Philippines. I’m a Filipina but, I live in the US now. I got interested with your entries bec. you decsribed some of the places I used to visit when I’m the Phil. Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with JHJ but, after I read your entries I searched in the net and he is pretty known in the Phil. I watched “Only You” the Phil.version not the Korean one. I know this is a JHJ fan site but, I did like your entry about the Phil. Thanks. Keep it up.

I trust JHJ all the times. He lets his actions speak for himself. He is both a good person and a good actor.
