But, Marise, Daniel Henney has the advantage of being Eurasian, even though he is nowhere near JHJ in acting ability. It's easier for him to "conquer" the west.

Hope that JHJ will go beyond the Asian entertainment scene. If Daniel Henney can do it through his CBS drama show, I think JHJ is far more better than him with his talent and good looks.

Marise, CSI for JHJ?! Never seen such genre in Korean drama (Japanese, yes), not that JHJ is incapable of playing Grissom, or House, for that matter. (But his good looks might get in the way.)

prissymom, we like "Numbers" too. Charlie Epps has beautiful eyes and gentle manners — maybe that's why he reminds you of JHJ.

Actually I would prefer to see another comedy drama from JHJ as I'd like to see more of the lighter side of him & hopefully this time it's happy ending & he gets the girl !

I also hope that he'll cut another song CD so that we can hear his voice anytime we want .

wuliJHJ, it is true that every day fresh new faces appear in the world of south korean entertainment – younger, more handsome, all drool-worthy hunks. but most of the time these good-looking actors are just one-drama or one-movie wonders only. they may look good, but most of the time they lack talent, discipline, and love for their craft to stay long in the business. our JHJ has proven his mettle already. even when he was just a relative newbie in the entertainment industry he has been given challenging and heavy roles (love letter and seodongyo to name a few), and he has always performed way beyond what was expected of him. good looks may catch the eye of the fickle public, but talent, discipline and love for his craft will spell the difference between an actor who's a one-drama/movie wonder and an actor with a long-lasting career.

1. a rom-com where he could play the role of a young single father. in his 2 dramas where he had to act with kids (only you and 3d1m), it was evident that he could establish good rapport with kids.

2. a mystery/thriller where he would play the role of both the protagonist and the antagonist, like a dr-jekyll-mr-hyde type of character.

3. an action/mystery/drama where he'll have the chance to show off his fighting skills again

4. a role similar to charlie epps in NUMBERS. Numbers is an american tv series about a math genius who helps the FBI solve crimes using math. whenever i watch NUMBERS on tv and everytime the charlie epps character appears onscreen i am always reminded of our JHJ. not that they look alike (our JHJ is many times more handsome than the guy who plays the role of charlie epps). i don't know what it is about the charlie epps character, but he really reminds me of our JHJ.

i definitely don't want to see him in a very sexy/bold/daring role doing explicit sexual scenes. i don't think he needs to do scenes like that to catch people's attention.

When he resume his acting career, I would like to see him in an action/mystery drama format which is similar to that of CSI – where Grissom is the lead investigator of the team.
Hyun-Jae exemplifies all the qualities that Grissom has – the appeal and charisma. But Hyun-Jae excels in every kind of drama series.
Anything will do as long as JHJ is the lead actor.
